LITTLE GIRL GONE
This painting was inspired by Chinchilla’s song “Little Girl Gone.” It is the feeling of being fed up with the people-pleasing and being underestimated. It’s a call to arms, a war cry for the broken, the abused, the downtrodden, and those fed up with being told to smile. It’s for every person who has had to bite their tongue, to walk away humiliated after not standing up for themselves. It’s wanting to scream and be real.
Acrylic, graphite, charcoal, oil stick, collage, ink, wax crayon on canvas
24 inches x 24 inches
Unframed 1.5-inch wide canvas with painted edges for a clean, contemporary look
