Commission an Abstract Landscape Painting
A commissioned abstract landscape is an opportunity to create a painting rooted in memory, atmosphere, color, and feeling. Rather than recreating a literal place, I work with the emotional weather of a landscape — the light, the mood, the pull of a place, the way it lives in the body after you’ve left it.
Commissions are available on a limited basis and are accepted only when my studio schedule allows.
How the process
works
We begin with a conversation about the feeling, memory, colors, and atmosphere you want the painting to hold. You may share images, places, words, colors, or emotional references, but the final painting will remain an intuitive abstract work in my visual language.
Once the deposit is received, I begin the painting. I will share progress photos at key stages and include minor adjustments as part of the process.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before delivery or shipping. The price of the painting depends on size and shipping/delivery.
Commission timelines vary depending on size and studio schedule. Most paintings take several weeks from deposit to completion.
What I do not create
I do not create literal landscape reproductions, portraits, copies of previous paintings, or paintings designed to exactly match décor. The work can be in conversation with your space, but it will remain a fully realized original painting.
