Beyond The Breakers

This painting was inspired by the many rock forms that jut out into the ocean causing the ocean waves to “break.” They are often natural boundaries along rocky coasts. They protect our coasts and beaches from erosion. I liken this to the boundaries and walls we build to protect ourselves. For anyone to truly get to know us, we have to let down our walls and push beyond the breakers.
